Sarah Small

LUXURY TRAVEL ADVISOR

Independent Contractor

Sarah approaches travel with the same focus and precision she once brought to her work as an ICU nurse — but now her mission is to design journeys that nourish rather than heal. She builds itineraries across Spain, Greece, Italy and the Caribbean that privilege depth over breadth and invite travelers to linger rather than rush. For Sarah, luxury is about intention. A carefully chosen walk through a medieval neighborhood, a seaside meal that etches itself into memory, a slow-paced afternoon designed for nothing more than noticing — these are the details that define her work. Clients who gravitate toward Sarah are often seeking more than just a vacation. They’re looking for space to breathe, reflect, and connect — and they trust her to craft trips that deliver exactly that.

Sarah’s Destination Focuses

Spain

  • This highly depends on the region. Northern Spain is best visited in the summer to avoid rainy, dreary days while Southern Spain’s intense heat should be avoided. As a generalization, May to June and late September to November are Sarah’s top choices but Spain can be a year round destination when planned correctly.

  • Dive into one primary region for 7-10 days minimum if you want to truly experience the heart and soul of Spain.

Portugal

  • Similar to Spain, spring and fall are typically the most pleasant for weather and crowds. But let’s dive into if you’re looking for a beach vacation, a countryside stay, a city break or a jaunt over to the islands. These nuances will play a role in your personal best time of year.

  • 10 days lends well to the classic Lisbon, Porto, Douro Valley route if you’re looking for the highlights.

Greece

  • Another Mediterranean country that is always lovely in the spring and fall. However, if you’re visiting the Greek islands, timing matters as they close seasonally!

  • At minimum 1 week for Athens and an island or two but once you meet the Greek islands, you may be wishing you’d planned to stay longer! You could easily spend 2 weeks experiencing the island lifestyle.

  • "Our trip was fabulous! Sarah is amazing and very quick to respond to questions or issues. Everything went as planned. The hotels were beautiful, the staff made us feel special, the drivers were safety conscious and flexible in accommodating a toddler in tow. The towns were beautiful! The excursions selected were top notch including the tour guide in Dubrovnik, the boat captain in Korcula, as well as the chef in Split. We were treated like royalty and everyone was so kind. The chef even autographed a children's cookbook she authored for my granddaughter as a souvenir. This trip delivered everything I had hoped for in terms of a once in a lifetime dream family vacation."

  • "Oh Sarah! Each day was so magical, I felt like I was in a dream! The rooftop table with the view of the Alhambra was unmatched! FANTASTIC! I love how there was never a rush which makes dining and activities especially wonderful. This trip meant so much for our little family of three. We are beyond grateful for all you have done!"
